CACM Northern California Law Seminar & Expo Recap

CACM Northern California Law Seminar & Expo Recap

This month, TownSq attended and participated in the CaliforniaAssociation of Community Managers (CACM) Northern California Law Seminar andExpo in Oakland, California. It was two days of networking and learning from the industry’s most distinguished leaders.

Besides sharing all that TownSq has to offer community managers, our top priority when attending events is understanding the industry’s pain points and what managers are looking for. The following are key takeaways and themes from the event:

Healthy Work-life Balance

Many managers expressed feelings of burnout and overload. They sought tools to help automate workflows and free up time. With digital solutions like TownSq, you can automate processes that were once manual, centralize everything to one platform, and get time back in your day through cutting-edge features.

Consolidating Solutions

If you’re a manager or management company, it’s important to audit your many platforms or tools. When speaking with some of the managers atCACM, we found they were using several tools and platforms to perform their daily responsibilities. Not only can this be costly, but it can also take more time and effort to access various tools.

Competitive Advantage

Growth is always a significant factor for any business, but how do you gain a competitive advantage? At the end of 2022, TownSq conducted a survey of the industry. We polled management companies, managers, and boards across the United States and asked questions about their needs and goals for 2023.A statistic that didn’t surprise us, 65% of board members said that technological capabilities were a determining factor when vetting a management company. Having good communication, technology, and features that enhance the community living experience are just a few ways to gain an advantage in this competitive space.

We walked away with a lot of knowledge and new connections. We look forward to attending the CACM Southern California LawSeminar and Expo on March 15th and 16th.  If you’re attending, make sure to stop by booth 719 to say hello and discover TownSq’s full product offerings.
